This year, I fell in love with making embroidery animations. It all started with a small test: “what if I turn these shapes into an embroidered animation?”
Since then, I’ve been stitching these typographic shapes frame by frame and watching them become little looping images. I love the shift from digital to physical and back again, like the work is traveling between worlds and picking up new textures on the way.
And even though I adore the animations, the embroidered panels are beautiful on their own. So I thought: maybe they deserve a second life as prints, something you can hang at home, a poster version of a textile that once moved.
Hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
